Uniscan 4.0 vulnerability scanner Released

The Uniscan vulnerability scanner is aimed at information security, which aims at finding vulnerabilities in Web systems and is licensed under the GNU GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE 3.0 (GPL 3). The Uniscan was developed using the Perl programming language to be easier to work with text, has an easy to use regular expressions and is also multi-threaded.

Linus Torvalds has announced the release of Linux kernel 3.1 rc2. There isn't too much to see and Linus notes that this is a fairly calm release for coming just one week after the close of the Linux 3.1 kernel merge window.

A few new screenshots hint that iOS 5, just released in beta to developers, may be have the much rumoured speech-to-text functionality.
